Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect

Thera is built to help you track medications and treatment plans. We do not operate ad networks or sell your data, and we do not require account registration to use the free core features.

The app processes the following data:

• Treatment plan names, start/end dates, and medication details (name, dosage, unit, form, and schedule) that you enter — stored on your device.
• Dose logs: whether a dose was marked Taken, Skipped, Not Sure, or Snoozed, and when.
• Notification/reminder scheduling data needed to deliver Lock Screen reminders at the right time.
• If you subscribe to Thera Plus, Apple shares your subscription status with us so Plus features can be unlocked — we do not receive your payment card details.
• Anonymous technical diagnostic data (e.g., crash reports) only if you opt in to share it via the App Store.

2. Device permissions

Thera may request the following permission to work fully:

• Notifications — used to deliver dose reminders and Lock Screen Live Activities for the schedules you set up. You can review or revoke this at any time in iOS Settings.

3. How we use data

Your treatment plans, medications, and dose logs are used only to power the reminders and dashboards you see in the app. We do not use this data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or model training, and we never sell it to any third party.

4. Third parties, ads & subscriptions

Thera does not contain third-party advertising. Thera Plus is a subscription (monthly or annual) billed and managed entirely by Apple through the App Store — we never receive or store your payment card details, only the subscription status needed to unlock Plus features.

Reminder notifications are delivered through Apple's push notification and Live Activity systems, which are governed by Apple's own privacy practices.

5. Data storage & security

Your treatment plans, medications, and dose logs are stored on your device using standard iOS security mechanisms. If a sync or backup feature is offered in the future, it will be optional and described here before it is enabled by default.

6. Medical disclaimer

Thera is a reminder and tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, does not diagnose or treat any condition, and does not transmit your information to any healthcare provider. Always follow the dosing instructions given by your doctor or pharmacist, and consult them with any questions about your medications.

7. Children's privacy

Thera is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us so we can address it.

8. Your rights

You have full control over your data: edit or delete any medication, treatment plan, or dose log, or uninstall the app to remove everything Thera has stored on your device.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
