Is Thera free?
Yes. Core treatment tracking — creating plans, adding medications, scheduling doses, and logging them — is free. Thera Plus is an optional monthly or annual subscription that unlocks unlimited treatment plans, extended dose history, and priority reminders. Exact plans and pricing are shown inside the app before you subscribe.
Does Thera need an internet connection?
You can create treatment plans, add medications, and log doses offline. An internet connection is needed to manage a Thera Plus subscription through the App Store.
How do I create a treatment plan?
From the Treatments tab, tap New Treatment, give it a name (for example "Post-op recovery"), and set a start date. An end date is optional — leave it off for ongoing or long-term treatments.
How do I add a medication and set its schedule?
Open a treatment plan and tap Add Medication. Enter the name, dosage, unit, and form (tablet, capsule, liquid, injection, or patch), then choose how it's taken: Fixed Time for specific clock times, Every X Hours for recurring doses, or As Needed for PRN medications.
How does logging a dose work?
On the Today dashboard, tap any dose to open its action sheet and choose Taken, Skipped, Not sure, or Snooze. Doses are grouped into Earlier Today, Due Now, and Later Today so it's always clear what's next.
What are Lock Screen reminders and how do I enable them?
When a dose is due, Thera can show a Live Activity right on your Lock Screen with Taken, Snooze, and Skip buttons — no need to unlock your phone. Make sure Notifications are allowed for Thera in iOS Settings → Thera → Notifications.
I'm not getting reminders — what should I check?
Confirm Notifications are enabled for Thera in iOS Settings, that the medication's schedule is set correctly, and that Focus modes like Do Not Disturb aren't silencing alerts. Reminders follow your device's local time zone.
How do I manage or cancel my Thera Plus subscription?
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple. Open iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, select Thera, and change or cancel your plan there at any time.
Does Thera work on iPad?
Thera is designed and optimized for iPhone. iPad support may come in a future update.
